In a modern twist on a traditional fable Mrs Claus lives a double life in Lapland in a fantastical ancient timber house with a design inspired by Karelian architecture, built on stage at Pinewood studios and added to footage shot on the Icelandic Glacier.

A pioneer style entrance porch with decorative carved wooden posts and coloured stained glass door opens onto log lined double height interiors. Tall pointed dormer windows with intricate patterns of glazing bars and handblown glass pierce the hand painted patterned vaulted ceilings in the bedroom where she plans her missions. A hidden door opens in Bond style onto a corridor lined with presents leading to the ice tunnels where she rides a snowmobile to her helicopter flying out of the glacier face en route to london to rescue a little boys dream.
